Mad Dawg Wrestling Dominates SAWA Championships.

The Mad Dawg Wrestling Club had an impressive showing at the Sacramento Area Wrestling Association (SAWA) Club Championships April 16 at Vista del Lago High School, nearly sweeping every single team award for the various age groups.

Mad Dawg took home the first-place team trophy in three out of a possible five age categories, and finished second in the fourth category. Mad Dawg was the top Sacramento Club team in the Peewee (5-6 year olds) Bantam (6-7) Intermediate (8-9) age groups, while taking second in the Novice (10-11) and Schoolboy (12-13) age groups. Mad Dawg then swept the high school age groups with first place in Cadet (14-15 year olds) and Juniors (16-18 year olds) with those competitors comprising of mostly Folsom High wrestlers.
